Allison hosted podcasts and facilitated many public discussions that leave us with a beautiful reminder of how her everyday work showed us the way to justice and liberation at an individual and collective level.

In 2016, Allison launched the SchoolHouse: Equity in Education podcast. Allison interviewed young people, educational equity specialists, school administrators, funders, and youth and parent organizers on a variety of topics such as Counselors, Not Cops; Black Girls Matter; The Black Church and Justice Movements and more.

One of Allison’s last presentations was on a webinar entitled The Mississippi Roots of Education Justice in July 2020. Allison’s remarks about the case she investigated at the Department of Justice begin at 30:15. 

Allison’s podcasting days go back to 2013-2014 with Know-It-All: The ABCs of Education. This podcast amassed more than 240,000 listens. Allison described the show as “where we empower our listeners with insightful information about equity in education.”
